Do we miss a Sunday?
No. The press, the flooring crew, and paint are scheduled between services. The congregation never sits in a construction zone on Sunday.

What committees ask before they vote.
Do you subcontract upholstery or carpet?
No. Carpet crew and upholstery crew are Sharpe’s employees. One superintendent, one warranty, one number in Dunn.
Can we see the sanctuary before we pick colors?
Yes. Masterpiece includes designer renderings — three colorways, three views each — so the committee votes on pictures of your room.
Can we choose our own fabric and stain?
Yes. We send samples with the quote. For new pews we offer multiple woods and stains. We cannot refinish existing pews lighter than the stain already on them.
What does reupholstery cost?
Typically $25–$60 per linear foot depending on seats, backs, and body style. About one-third the cost of new pews of equal quality. We quote the actual pew, not a generic bench.
How long does it take?
Materials 12–16 weeks. On-site pew work is usually 3 days to 2 weeks. Flooring follows the next week if you chose Core or Masterpiece.
Is there a warranty?
Lifetime workmanship on pew upholstery. 25 years on flooring workmanship. If a seam isn’t right, you call Dunn. Bryan’s crew comes back.
Do you work outside North Carolina?
All 48 contiguous states. We hand-deliver cushions. The press rolls into the sanctuary wherever you are.
